Changing into New Job

Drum-roll people, I am leaving from my favorite job to a new career path soon. To be honest, I am not so happy about the decision but I believe some changes are for the betterment of the future. It is a difficult decision, I have recalled it almost 3 times. I still love developing things and I will continue to be a developer in my own personal project. On the other side, taking up a new role definitely will be a new roller coaster ride that may have its own learning curve and challenge. Hoping that a new year with a new job will be an awesome jazz turnover.
Staying in a toxic environment and toxic people can be devastating sometimes. Below are reasons of the unhealthy environment that push me to that drastic decision:
Managers trying to retain a hard-work without even giving appreciation.

All the leadership opportunities are given to another co-worker even the project is solely completed by myself but he took credit as project lead.

The peer who gets a leadership position starts being too bossy and using harsh words in communication such as "your work is rubbish". Sent an email with a red font which is considered unethical and rude. When this issue was brought to the manager, he proclaimed that the co-worker is doing the right things.

Managers are trying to defend the co-worker, who is treating me harshly which is against the company code of conduct. In this situation, I understand that I suppose to contact HR for help but I decided to move to the new team rather than wasting my time on the uncivilized human.

My peers are envious of my Master's degree journey by complaining that my focus has a shift to studies, rather than a career. I believe education is a part of an employee career development plan.

I believe that talent should speak louder than nonsense, so I took a decision to change my career path and hoping to grow with the new team.
Happy New year everyone. Welcoming 2020 like a rock star.
